Support & Help
Unbottled is a private journaling app for the conversations you haven't had yet. It helps you process difficult emotions, prepare what you want to say, and track the things left unspoken in your relationships. Everything stays on your device.
You can delete your data in two ways:
Settings and tapping Delete All Data. This removes all topics, people, and preferences permanently. You can also delete the app entirely, which removes all stored data from your device including Keychain entries.
No. Unbottled does not use iCloud, does not sync to any server, and does not back up your notes anywhere outside your device. If you delete the app or lose your device, your data cannot be recovered.
Go to Settings and enable the biometric lock toggle. Once enabled, Unbottled will require Face ID or Touch ID each time you return to the app after switching away. Your notes are hidden in the app switcher with a privacy screen.
When you create or edit a topic, you can set a reminder date and time. Unbottled sends a local notification on your device at that time. No data is sent to any server for this. You can manage notification permissions in your device's Settings app.
Marking a topic as shared means you've had the conversation or sent your draft. The topic moves to the Shared status and any active reminder is cancelled. You can reopen it later if needed.
